Z is a Letter who is the planet that all the Letters live on, who appears in Alphabet Lore and Number Lore.
Appearance[]
Z is a gigantic white letter Z which is slightly cracked, which the other letters inhabit on. His eyes are located at the top left and bottom right of his face, and his mouth is diagonal down the middle. His mouth has shark-like teeth, similar to T. He has stone skin and is so big he has decently strong gravity and an atmosphere. Inside, his pores are gray. It is possible that the cracks along his skin were created by T's burrowing, evidenced by him having none when the letters were all lowercase.
Biography[]
Z is a planet in the shape of the letter Z and is the home to every other letter that existed. Z saw what happened to F, and cried after watching his descent into madness, showcasing his apparent compassion for the rest of the letters. In Now I Know My ABCs, he used his “...” (ellipsis) gems to reverse time and undo the events of the old timeline. In nZ…, he is seen very cheerful after the letters ended up with a better ending, as well as being lowercase. In 5, he failed to reverse G's death with his gems, and thus fell among the Letters who got almost hit by the gems.

Z is the planet of the 25 Letters who just wants peace and happiness on him. Whenever things go terribly wrong, he becomes very sad such as when F became evil in the old timeline and when he and N had to separate in the new timeline.

- In terms of scale, "Z" is approximately 51 to 467.5 meters in height, width, and depth.
- On July 31st, 2022, Mike uploaded "Z" to his Twitter page, where a poorly drawn blue Z can be seen saying its name quickly and then cutting to the "credits" with the song ABC by The Jackson 5 playing. It turned out to be a joke video.
- He seems to have a diamond core, as seen in the 1,000,000 milestone video.
- Due to being the planet the letters live atop; Z is technically the only character to appear in every episode. He is only fully seen in two episodes, "nZ..." & "Now I Know My ABCs...".
- He has the longest dialogue sound, with O being the second longest.
- It is unknown whether Z has an axis or seasons.
- In Now I Know My ABCs, he falls asleep after he watches F and N, knowing he was at peace for time to come.
- This is often paying homage to a trope on the letter Z being a sleepy letter to mimic the sounds it says in a sentence (zzzzz).
- Like that, he cries briefly at the end of "nZ..." equivalent to how F’s tears are gems resembling punctuation marks, Z’s tears represent the punctuation “…” (ellipsis) which has a vastly different meaning than a singular “.” (period) and can thus be reasonably considered a different symbol. This symbol has the power to reverse time (revealed in Now I Know My ABCs), and they also represent the symbol “⋮”.
- Technically, his gems “…” (ellipsis) are his three moons, since he's the planet.
- The way he says his name is a reference to the two ways you can say Z ("zee" and "zed"), as well as sounding like "ze end".
- He has the lowest screen time showing his full body, since his full body is only shown in nZ… and Now I Know My ABCs. He technically does have the most screentime because he is the whole planet.
- He being the planet and watcher of the others letters may be a reference to Zeus, the king of the Greek Gods.
- His face resembles the percent symbol (%), with the eyes being the circles and his mouth as the line.
- Mike confirmed that Z orbits a star, which will be covered in Season 3.
- He is the only letter whose tongue is a different color than the rest of his mouth.
- He has the deepest voice out of all the letters overall.
- Before he was released, people wondered if he was a sideways N, and debated if his name would be “zee” or “zed”.
- The first one was wrong while the second was well…both.
- He was confirmed to have a backstory by Geoff Galneda.
- He's the only letter to appear in all episodes.
- He, Q, and N are the only letters that are aware of the previous timeline according to Geoff.
- The Phoenician letter zayin derived the Greek letter zeta.
- The zeta letter was used in both Western Greek (which became Modern Greek) and Euboean (which became Etruscan, when Latin and finally modern day English), in which it became the letter Z, which is what he resembles.
- He becomes surprised when his gems got destroyed by P due to her being knocked up by 5 into outer space.
- We don't know what happen to P afterwards.
- It is shown in 5 that all of Z's surfaces have gravity, as X walked on one of the straight sides.
- There might be another civilization in another part of Z's surface.
- It was confirmed by Mike in his live, Z had a lisp as a lowercase but has improved over time.
- Z will be unlikely to form a word because he is a giant planet and is incredibly massive compared to the other 25 Letters, however, he could have the power to make a miniature version of himself to spell Z words.

- The roots that 4 creates feel like head lice to Z.[1]
