Mike Salcedo, also known as Delfrig on several sites (full name: Michael E. Salcedo), is an American YouTuber animator for short animated web series Cyanide and Happiness which released on Explosm. 2010s

Mike Salcedo joined YouTube on September 14, 2011. His oldest animations were part of a series named "LET'S DO THIS!". One of those animations was based on the popular "7 8 9" joke. Mike Salcedo returned to the internet to start working for Cyanide and Happiness, as well as make a video on the "Ugandan Knuckles" trend.

In 2014, he decided to run a webcomic named "Bigfoot Justice" as well as making animated versions of them on his YouTube channel on 2021.

2020s

2022

After a while, he became bored and decided to do a "daily animating exercise" where he would make daily animations that are based on the English Alphabet. Eventually, the newer episodes took a lot longer to make, so Mike abandoned the daily exercise idea but still continued the series. He ended up creating something that has became really popular: "Alphabet Lore". Mike did not expect the compilation to blow up, as none of the episodes themselves reached 100K views before the compilation was uploaded.

However, he intended his daily exercise to include an epilogue, so he began working on that. By the time Mike uploaded it, the compilation already got over 40M views and many other "Lores" inspired by it. Mike still directed some Cyanide and Happiness shorts.

2023

Once his animation reached 100 million views, he uploaded the full compilation that includes the epilogue and the first episode of Number Lore three days later.

Episode 2 was a struggle however, it was delayed to sometime between February 21 - March 10, with it not being finished, it was delayed to April. After April 30, fans started to riot. On May 15, Mike uploaded a trailer for 2 and a seperate video of the Fan Art video. He had produced a Q and F plush alongside that, with Q releasing between July 1 - 10, and F coming July 7.

In other unrelated news, Mike Salcedo began developing a separate miniseries called "BinQ the IP Slayer", which introduces a purple creature named Binq who attacks well-known characters, such as Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Episode 3 was a long struggle however, It was delayed to between August 13 - 30. With it not being finished, It was delayed to Between September and October. After October 31, fans started to riot. On November 12, 2023, Mike Salcedo released 3 from Number Lore.

Like the previous 2 episodes of Number Lore, Episode 4 also proved to be an obstacle to finish. To abate the possibility of fans rioting from the wait of another episode again, Mike collaborated with 8 animators and artists and released the episode into 4 parts; the first part of the episode release on April 4, 2024, the second part released on April 18, 2024, the third part released on May 9, 2024, and the full episode released on Independence Day of the same year.
