E is the fifth letter of the alphabet. He was used to make the word "FRIENDS/friends", "BIKE", "ONE", and (indirectly) "JERK". In addition, he was used to make "FAKE", "PATREON", "STICKER", "MORE", and (alongside a clone of his) "ENDGAME" in non-canon content.
Appearance[]
E is a teal letter E. His mouth is on the lower side of him (similar to C) and his eyes are located at the end of the middle line.
Personality[]
E has a chill but very charismatic personality.
Biography[]
Alphabet Lore[]
When e was lowercase, He was friends with f, r, i, n, d, and s and danced with them. e reacted when f and rick formed "frick".
Sometime before F's attack, E turned into an adult.
When he became uppercase, E got hit by F who was using D as a weapon as karma for using D to hit F. He would reside in F's cave chained up for the rest of the series until Z turned back time.
Number Lore[]
In the rewritten timeline, E has a much more prominent role compared to the original timeline thanks to N's selfless actions, making F much less vengeful and not hateful enough to enact his plan in the original timeline. He is first seen dancing along with all the other vowels in Episode 3, although this quickly transitions into a fight with A, primarily because A had a much larger impact over the events of the first season, is chronologically the first letter of the English lexicon, and moreover, was used in more words than E at the time of the episode's airing despite the fact that E is the most frequently used letter. Their argument is quickly cut short by the calculator ship zooming overhead and an injured B landing right in front of them, continuing the events of the previous episode. After O flies off with L, E opts to assist in rescuing X, who the numbers currently held captive, picks up I and throws him at K, causing both to land to the right of B in a manner to spell the word "BIKE", which E becomes the driver of.
E manages to catch up to the ship, but just as it is about to fly off of Z's horizon, Z uses his ellipsis gems to prevent the ship from escaping, causing it to crash land. E hops off of his bike, defusing himself and the other component letters. He witnesses the fight between J, K, and the newly formed 3, as well as L throwing the ship at F's cave.
This action greatly enrages E, who, along with J, R, and K, spells "JERK" in response to L's selfish actions and endangerment of F. After L flies off, he witnesses the letters break free of O's gem's restraining abilities, and alongside all the other letters in the area, gets run over.
E reforms the bike to chase the numbers down. 1 ordered 3 and his clone to form 4 in which g played with the calculator, creating Subtraction-created 2. g lost his footing from the calculator and lands in the bike. 3 and 1's clone finally made 4, a serpentine number with elastic and chlorokinetic abilities. E had a hard time maneuvering the bike resulting the front tire bursting due to 4's spines. O appeared from the sky and became the makeship front tire of the bike, enhancing its capabilities. The bike landed on F's cave in which O's gem faded, allowing the Calculator Ship to finally go to planet Zero.
E appeared on 5, with I. As G pokes 5, 5 smashed him into F's cave in which E and I wondered what that noise was.

Additional Information[]
Trivia[]
- E was the second letter to get kidnapped.
- E is the most commonly used letter in the English alphabet by words, being 11% of words (doesn't include the words used in the lore, "friends"). It's also ironic to many fans that E plays one of the minor roles in the series' original timeline, despite this.
- If "JERK" and "FAKE" are counted as canon words, E is tied with A and R for being the most used letter in the series in terms of words.
- If "PATREON" and "WATCH" are counted, it's A, with eight words.
- The top bar of E resembles a pompadour hairstyle, which may be a reference to iconic rock & roll singer Elvis Presley.
- E and O are the only letters to have holes in their shapes (for E's case, lowercase e). Letters such as B, D, and P have holes in the real letter shape but not in Alphabet Lore for aesthetic purposes (A originally had holes).
- When he was dancing in the word friends, it looked like he was laughing as well.
- If A and E form "AE", they are technically one of the ligatures, as in Old English and some scripts, "AE" and "ae" were for a time written as "Æ" and "æ".
- If O and E form "OE", they are technically one of the ligatures, as in Middle English, "OE" and "oe" were for a time written as "Œ" and "œ".
