The Alphabet Lore Wiki staff team consists of five groups: Bureaucrats, Administrators, Content Moderators, Discussions Moderators, and Rollbackers.
- Bureaucrats have the same rights as an administrator, along with the ability to promote users to content moderator and administrator.
- Administrators have the abilities of content and discussions moderators, while also having additional rights of being able to block or ban users and edit wiki code.
- Content Moderators are users who can delete/revive pages and edit locked pages, as well as having the rights of rollbackers and some rights of discussions moderators.
- Discussions Moderators are users who have the ability to delete or lock discussions, comments, and message wall posts.
- Rollbackers are users who are given the rollback right which allows them to revert edits by a user to the latest revision of another user, without the use of the undo button.
Bureaucrats
Bureaucrats are users who can do just about anything. They can promote users to any user group, and they have all the rights of administrators. Since this is the highest role you can get, only three users can be a bureaucrat at a time, and if a vacancy is left, three voting rounds will occur. Here is a list of all three of our bureaucrats. In order to be a bureaucrat, you must be one of the best administrators on the site and successfully make it through the bureaucrat selection process.
Administrators
Administrators are trusted users who are in charge of administrating the wiki. They can edit wiki code and block and unblock users and their user IDs. They can also promote users to discussions moderator and rollbacker. Administrators also have all the user rights of content moderators and discussions moderators. In order to become an administrator, you must be a content moderator with over 300 edits, or a discussions moderator with over 300 posts. In this way you are considered either a discussions or content administrator.
Content Moderators
Content moderators are trusted to remove any vandalism, spam, or anything else harmful towards the wiki and the community, and are trusted to delete pages that don't follow the rules or are low-quality.
Here is a list of our current content moderators. In order to become a content moderator, you must be a quality rollbacker with over 150 edits, and also have to have been one for more than 30 days (1 month).
We currently have no content moderators at this time, however.
Discussions Moderators
Discussions moderators are users who monitor the discussions to make sure the rules are being followed.
Some of their main user rights include removing and restoring messages on message walls, deleting blog posts, editing and deleting article comments, deleting, restoring, and locking discussions posts and replies, and locking page comment sections.
Here is a list of all our current discussions moderators. In order to become a discussions moderator, you must be an active user in the discussions with over 120 posts, who must have joined or been part of the community for at least 20 days.
