3 is the third episode of the first season of Number Lore, and the thirtieth episode overall.
Plot[]
The five main Vowels (A, E, I, O, and U) doing a dance sequence. During the sequence, when A shows his dance moves, E steals the spotlight and A and E start fighting, to the other vowels. Their introduction is cut short when the calculator ship flies by them, causing them to chase after it, especially after seeing X held captive. E uses B, I, and K to form BIKE, O uses his gem, and A uses V to fly. U, all alone, does a slinky-styled walk to catch up but is too slow and falls behind. L and O successfully reach the ship but are stopped by Two.
Meanwhile, at F's Cave, F and N are partying about how they kept their friendship over the traumatic events in their childhood. When the calculator ship flies by the cave, and F sees L and O being attacked by Two and run over by the BIKE, he recalls their embarked actions and laughs at their humiliation, but N sees this as a sign of help, and when A and V ask N to help spell VAN, F refuses to allow N to go. As such, they break up their newly formed "&" ampersand gem, and N goes off to help, leaving F (and soon after Z) sad and alone.
With the VAN in action, they accidentally pick up G and P's newborn son, g and he tags along. As such, P goes to her newly formed home to pick up her "!" exclamation mark gem, join the mission, and retrieve her son safely. The Numbers are almost out of the Letter's reach when Z, enraged after noticing the Numbers attempting to kidnap X, uses their newly formed ellipsis moons to stop them, resulting in the ship crashing into one of the gems, causing it to fly out of control and crash-land, stopping just before it could hit J.
Meanwhile, One and Two form a new ally, Three, an alien with molten saliva who resembles a frog-like creature. He tries to fire a magma beam at J, but misses after K swiftly swoops in to rescue him last-minute. J and Three have a laser battle where the former almost wins, but Three gains the upper hand by using his tongue to grab J and K and slam them into the ground. g, being a newborn, punches Three, resulting in Three throwing him into the air. P successfully saves him until Three grabs her and then swallows and forcefully encases her in a transparent yellow cube substance, similar to the calculator ship buttons. Upset that the Letters are not progressing, L uses his period gem to pick up the ship, shaking out its contents, including the equation machine, and X. O traps the Numbers with his colon gem. When L prepares to swing away the ship, he looks at F and decides to shoot it towards him, resulting in the ship crashing into the cave and leaving F's fate unknown to Letters, much to N's horror.
It ends with "4 be continued...".
