2 is the second episode of the first season of Number Lore, and the twenty-ninth episode overall.
Plot[]
Instead of One saying it, Y, M, and B try to save X as B makes a hurricane in the sky, and M's gem flies near One. M transforms and kicks One, then X multiplies and surrounds him, and he kicks One multiple times, and Y is used to shoot X clones at One. One runs in fear to the calculator ship, and Y, X, M, and B celebrate. One comes to the window and looks at X in furiosity. One traps X in a bubble and is transported into a bubble in the spaceship. X then has his symbol and duplicates in the bubble, but One takes the gem, and all the copies disappear. Y is worried, and One had a clone. The two Ones squish a bubble in the ship, but M slows it down using his comma crystal. Both Ones do an operation. [1+1=2]
Two lands on the surface of Z, hits Y with his upper mouth, and uses his teeth to stop B. Two adds his teeth again and shoots them at M. Q tries to stop him, but he is too late. Even when Q was a snail, he ran as fast as possible but was still too slow as thick molasses. M is injured, and his powers disappear. Two flies in a bubble back to the ship maniacally.
At the end, "3 be continued...", in a stacked format, and equal length, is shown. As the letters slowly spread out and the number marginally grows, half of the letters themselves split into two pieces.

Trivia[]
- As shown in the description, this video has four (now three) parts:
- This episode is the first Alphabet Lore video to have an entire recap of the previous episode, while the second being 3, third being 4, and fourth being 5.
- It is revealed that to add numbers, they merge in a machine to become bigger.
- The video originally had an announcement for the Q plush and also revealed the Alphabet Lore logo. It has since been edited out.
- When 2 shoots his teeth at B, you can identify the shot teeth as holes, making it look like how you write B.
- The math formulas on the screen above the addition machine when 2 is made prove that 1 + 1 = 2.
- In addition, the letters shown on the map (Y, M, X, and B) are all part of the slope-intercept formula, also known as y = mx + b.
- This episode was slightly modified in its recap on the third episode, as now there is a dotted line showing where Y, M, X, and B are moving.
Goofs[]
- When 1 "leaves" and returns, the ship casts a shadow around all the letters. When X gets captured in the next scene, the shadow is gone.
- When the X's are about to lift the door of 1's spaceship to crush 1, the gold screws on the top are missing. The screws appear in the next shot.
- When the 1's steal X's gem, he has it again before they create 2. This error was fixed in the Episode 3 re-release and YouTube Shorts version.
- Currently, this is one of the two only episode to have a thumbnail that doesn't feature their respective number's normal pose, unlike most episodes.
